Gaming 24 Hours Straight for Charity

This month our team participated in Extra Life, a 24-hour charitable gaming marathon focused on raising money for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

Being the avid video game enthusiasts that we are, we jumped at the opportunity for a full day of uninterrupted gaming that benefits an awesome cause. If there are two things we can say we’re passionate about, it’s gaming and giving back.

In total, our team raised over $750 for Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital. Chelsey Gonzales, business operations specialist, says, “I think it was a great success for our first year participating! I had so much fun hanging out all day and getting to relax with everyone. We raised $750 which was half of our goal, but for our first year I think that’s a huge win.”

Not only did we help our community, but our team had an amazing time! From supporting a great charitable cause to enjoying a delicious smoked pork loin and keeping our hands clenched on a controller for a full day, we can’t complain.

Our CEO Rob Wise says, “ITinspired doesn’t exist just to make money and solve technical problems. We have a passion to impact and inspire everyone around us.”
